Situated at Swanwick, a short drive to Coles Bay, Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay this is an idyllic shack to enjoy all The East Coast of Tasmania has to offer. 

Upstairs features open plan living and kitchen with glass doors out to a generous deck offering fantastic views across Great Oyster Bay from Nine Mile Beach to the Hazards. Bright, spacious and homely, very much casual shack style. Spacious bathroom and two light filled bedrooms complete this level. 

Downstairs has a lovely large living area which opens up to the lush front lawn and the decked courtyard. Two bedrooms are nestle off this living space, one being a fabulous kids bunk room. Also a second stylish bathroom is available downstairs and an outdoor shower. 

Walter’s is a much loved family beach shack for a relaxed, casual beach getaway. Guests have access to the entire property on a spacious block, fully fenced and a lush green lawn. A large deck looking over nine mile beach and a protected back courtyard ensure you maximise the sunshine, no matter the sea breeze. 

Freycinet Peninsula is a must see location when visiting beautiful Tasmania. Home to Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay there are endless activities and sights to be seen on your stay. Start with a short climb to the Wineglass Bay lookout to get your postcard perfect picture of the bay itself. If you are up for more of a challenge there are some fabulous walking tracks throughout the Park to take in more of the breathtaking sights. Head back to Coles Bay and enjoy a delicious coffee from Geographe, a cheeky beer at the Iluka Tavern or tasty takeaway fish and chips or ice cream from the ice creamery. The local bakery bakes the most delightful breads fresh out of the oven. For those who prefer not to cook, Coles Bay has a selection of eateries. Freycinet Lodge, Geographe, Iluka Tavern, Ice Creamery, Freycinet lodge or Edge of the Bay Resort all have scrumptious food using many local products. 

Only a short drive away are a selection of wineries showcasing the best of Tasmania's cool climate wines with direct cellar door sales are available. The beaches on the peninsula are unsurpassed with their pure white sand and turquoise water and are never over crowded. Being in a Bay, the beaches are calm and child friendly. 

It is recommended to have your own car when staying on the East Coast as there is limited public transport. With so many local attractions on the East Coast include Freycinet National Park and Wineglass Bay, Walters is the idyllic base for your coastal adventure.
